Dorkbot Presentation: "Sound Bike" Wednesday 1 February 19:00. Free Entrance. Meet sound artist Kaffe Matthews and her technical partner Wolf Hauptfleisch that form the creative brain behind “The Swamp that was, a bicycle opera”. The presentation will focus on conceptual framework and intention behind the piece and wolf will present an outline of the technical realisation. The bicycle opera will be launched in September this year in the streets of Ghent.
Thirty makers armed with Arduinos, sensors, mechanical and visual componenets will get together from 3 to 5 February at timelab Ghent. They will use their skills and creativity to jam for 48 hours. We don't know the result yet, but we're certain that amazing creations will be made!

Experience the city as if it's a movie in which you play a role. The work of sound artist Duncan Speakman can be categorised as "Headphone Performance". Wear the headphone and experience the city in a completely different way.
