Privé fonteintjes (2010)

At the Electrified 2010 Summercamp Niklas Roy and Jari Suominen developed three private fountains, driven by a low-tech electricity generating system. The fountains are part of the timelab Collection.

Jari Suominen

Jari Suominen is a musician and artist living and working in Helsinki, Finland. He was born there in 1977.

He is currently an active member of the electronic group Shogun Kunitoki and Kiila, one of the biggest in Finnish folk underground.
Aside from working as a musician he creates, designs and builds installations, electronic gadgets and software.

He also explores the themes of minimalism, psychedelic and the naïve misuse of technology in different contexts.
Furthermore, he is doing research about the history and technology of the Finnish synthesizers.
