Jasper Van Der Linden is an architect and member of BC, a Brussels-based hybrid practice operating through three entities: BC architects, BC studies, and BC materials.
BC stands for Brussels Cooperation and engages in acts of building that combine architecture, education, and material production to push for systemic change in the construction sector.
BC strives for bioregional, low-tech, circular, and inclusive approaches to design and construction.
Within BC studies, BC’s non-profit education and research laboratory, Jasper coordinates educational programs, workshops, and public sensitization around earth and bio-based materials, BC studies collaborates with universities, communities, and professionals to rethink the built environment through material practice and construction education. Jasper also contributes to the Building Beyond Borders postgraduate program at UHasselt, the chair Act of Building at RWTH Aachen and several other universities.
